Default Kurt Tippett - Adelaide Crows

Kurt Tippett (even though he is yet to debut for Adelaide) is being hailed as the Ricciuto replacement for 2008.

Can any of our members shed any light on this Queensland youngster that appears to have the world at his feet?

will be a good player but can't call him a roo replacement.
Crows will have an effective forward line.

Played well for the Crows last game...
Showed strong hands and a fair bit of spring, so the Crows will be crazy not to give this guy some games and make his progression a little faster...

The commentator's keep saying how good this duo of Tippet-Griifen is and then in the next breath they were saying that they will hit the wall soon because of there inexperience. I don't know if this is true but i think they will just keep getting better as each game goe's on. With the success of these tall basketballers i.e- Tippet, Brogan etc do you think we will see more clubs taking the chance with these type of big guy's?

Yeah I think so, like they go over to Fiji, and Ireland, to find talent.

I think the connection basketball and football have is significant. Ramanaskas played against me in under 18s BBall and he was a freak, He also played his first gane for Endeavour Hills Eagles under 16s (which is pretty much next door to me) and kicked a lazy 11!

A great bball player stepping onto the footy field is a step ahead of just any joe blow coming to play. Bball, passing to players in space, precision shooting, transition plays, etc etc.

So i hope that they persue the path of bballers for future afl stars, cos it has been effective so far.

As for Tippett, Griffen. There great pick ups especially Tippett. adelaide have had a shocking run with ruckmen injuries, and they might be able to ditch the likes of Biglands, for a couple of kids, for ruckmen are hard top come by!

Dam Adelaide they keep on keeping on

Go Blues.
