Default Matthew Pavlich Things Are Starting To Heat Up

PORT Adelaide wants Matthew Pavlich and coach Mark Williams says the club will do everything in its power to sign the Fremantle captain.

Annoyed at suggestions that rival Adelaide is the frontrunner to secure the four-times All-Australian forward, who is out of contract at the end of the season, Port said it was prepared to "rearrange" its salary cap and long-term planning to bring him to Alberton.

Very, very interesting!

I never like it when champs move club, I even felt a bit guilty about pinching Nathan Brown in 2004. I like to see top line players play out their careers at one club. But Pavlich hasn't signed yet, and that's not a good sign.

It's all over now with Pavlich re-signing with the Dockers.

Who ever thought that any marque player will move?

Same goes for Judd and Riewoldt - they will also re-sign.

None of them were ever going to move... apart from maybe Riewoldt... but Pav and Judd were always going to stay.

What about when Plugger moved to the Swans, probably the best move he ever made in his career..
Same as Big Baz.

That was a good deal when Greg Stafford took Nick Daffy's number 10 and we sent him to the swans.

Great swap that one.

I'm kinda cut over that one.
What he stay at the swans for one year?
Stafford was a super Tier 1 ruckman.
