Default PAFC's Trade Rumour thread - club by club

Adelaide
Got a few good ones here.
John Meesen - High draft pick that has been fairly unlucky with injuries. Both Griffin and Maric have been fast tracked ahead of him and I think both have signed. Crows will have to make a desicion on whether they decide to get rid of him or Biglands. However, Biglands is still under contract and I couldn't see Craig getting rid of a player after a knee reco. Interested clubs may include Richmond, Carlton and the Saints.
Luke Jericho - Craig was probably a bit harsh on Luke, dropping him after showing some decent signs this year, particular at Geelong. Not sure whether there will be enough interest but a club may take a punt on him late in the draft. There is a rumour that Carlton want him.
Ken McGregor - Been overtaken by Gill, Bock and Stevens. Still a handy player in decent form for the Eagles in the SANFL. A club like the Dogs could be interested in him. Will play AFL next year, unlike Perrie.

Brisbane
Jamie Charman - Don't buy much into this rumour. Still the Lions number one ruckman. Cameron Wood is a more likely chance to go.
Wouldn't expect too many trades from the Lions. I'd expect them to delist one a couple with a few retirements already and to get some more young in the draft.

Carlton
Nothing worth seeing here

Collingwood
Ryan Lonie - Decent ouside ball carrier with a good kick. Seems to be out of favour at Collingwood, however doubt there's many interested.
Alan Didak - I know Port would be interested but i'm not sure whether this is just a rumour or not

Essendon
David Hille - Not the most conventional ruckman and seemed to go out of favour late in the year. Will the new coach of Essendon give him the chop?
Adam McPhee - Could see him go with a new coach. Holds no real value to Essendon as he struggled with the 3rd tall back role and he is too slow for a wing. Richmond like these players, right?
Mark Johnson - Possibly has life left in him, but not at the Bombers

Fremantle
Paul Haselby - Out of favour with Harvey, on the grog again. Has OP and is too slow for Freo. Out of contract and could be clubs interested.

Geelong
Steven King - Could hold some value for someone. Possibly the Dogs or St.Kilda
Charlie Gardner/Hnery Playfair - Two players in the same situation. I've heard they've been in decent VFL form so there could be clubs interested.

Hawthorn
Will continue to develop their own talent. Doubt anyone that they want gone has any trade value. Don't buy into rumours of Mark Williams going.

North Melbourne
Brad Moran - Was meant to be the next big thing but H-Mac took over. Hale recently signed a new deal so he could be a while away from getting a regular spot. Port could be interested.

Melbourne
Bailey has said he is not going for a massive clearence, however there still are a few that could go
Russel Robertson - Melbourne aren't giving him the deal he wants. A number of clubs interested
Brad Miller - Should have been traded when he had some value last year. 4th round pick at best

Port Adelaide
Damon White - On his last chance with the Power and hasn't impressed. Either him or Willits may have to go if Port want to take some talls in this years draft.
Nathan Lonie - Will trade for mule
Brad Symes - 2006 rising star nominee but has gone out of favour with Choco since Snr. Burger was moved to the backlines. In very good form in the SANFL, with many tipping he'll win the Magarey Medal. The Crows are interested and could either trade a pick or Ivan Maric.

Richmond
Jay Schultz - I'd expect him to stay, however Port and the Crows are interested and if the right offer is put forward, they may accept.
Andy Krakouer - In decent VFL form, though Tambling has taken his place. Port have expressed interest, however I doubt that will happen. Is a 50/50 chance to play AFL next year

St.Kilda
Barry Brooks - High draft pick traded to the Saints a while back. In good VFL form but the Saints won't play him. Could be some interested clubs.

Sydney
Darren Jolly - Has expressed interest in heading back to VIC. If true, almost every club would show interest.

Western Bulldogs
Jordan McMahon - Has had a poor year and still has some value. Both SA clubs could be interested.
Farren Ray - Top 5 draft pick who hasn't come along that well. Not sure if he has value or whether the Dogs will persist.

West Coast
Mitch Morton - Has been shopped around and there has been some interest. Expect a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick

Feel free to add more

- Coughlan and Beau McDonald back to WA - hope not to WC on both cases.
- Sampi to Freo, that's if he still wants to play footy (starting to seem unlikely with Harvey coaching)...

Incorrect. Out of Contract but talks are progressing nicely. He doesnt have OP, he has a back problem that he tried to have fixed two years ago and has interrupted his preseason, hence why he is considered too slow. Give him this preseason and he'll be back to his best.

Also he is never out of favour with harvey and was not on the grog. Get your facts correct mate, he missed a recovery session.

We would want 2 first round draft picks for Robertson - now I get the feeling we just will have to sit back watch the finals and target the right club, who just miss out.

Miller - "4th round pick at best" ... Ok we will keep him thanks.

There is no way anyway would give even one first round pick for Robbo. Plus if Melbourne thought he was worth that much, they would have given into his contract demands already. This whole scenario seems similar to that of the Pickett one. He's asking for an extra year, Melbourne won't budge so he'll either get traded for what they can get or he'll nominate for the PSD.

Brad Miller has had more than enough chances at Melbourne and does not have what it takes to hold down a KP, whether it be up forward or down back. There's a good chance he won't even being playing AFL next year.

i really hope not, but, with it likely richmond will pick up cotchin with its second pick, fringe midfielders like tivendale and/or hyde could be gone.
not sure clubs would be too interested in hyde, but tivendale would pick up at least a third round picl if not better. hope he stays though.

and schulz is still contracted

and as for no one of interest at carlton...id get fevola if i could...apparently hes asked for $700,000 a year, which carlton wont pay.
with gaspar and hall retiring, richmond could have the spare cash to fork out for fev.
