Default Demons delistings 2007
MELBOURNEfc has today made five changes to its playing list in preparation for the 2008 season.

The Club today advised that Simon Godfrey, Daniel Ward, Heath Neville, Shane Neaves and Daniel Hayes will not be offered playing contracts for the 2008 season.

Hmmm, no surprise really. I only knew Godfrey. They won't lose much from this.

Neaves and Hayes were only rookies.

It's a bit unfair to say they were de-listed, as they were never really listed in the first place.
but i suppose rookies are a critical element nowadays and are expected to play a part (with so many injuries/etc, you need good rookies).
No surprises with Godfrey and Ward.
and i expect there will be more to come.

Why did they get rid of Daniel Ward?? i thought he was good this season!
