11. Sydney - Ben McEvoy (Ruck/FF)
Sydney clearly need a strong FF to replace the outgoing Barry Hall and with no prospects of note on their list, they may well be advised to take McEvoy if he is not gone already. With Everitt getting on in age also, they will need a ruckman and McEvoy plays like Ottens, so that could work in their favour

12.Hawthorn – Alex Rance (FB/CHB)
Hawthorn seem a bit out of their depth down back and with Danny Jacobs not at his best anymore, they will need a long term replacement. Gilham has been doing alright and Dawson is apparently developing, but they dont seem to be as good as what Rance can become

13.West Coast – Patrick Veszpremi (Mid)
A hard ball winner is another addition that WCE would like to add before they take a ruckman. Kerr and Priddis can win the hard ball but they wont always be in the centre and Veszpremi can add to that.

14.Melbourne – Tayte Pears (FB/CHB)
Pears is an exception backman that should easily go in the first round. With Carroll seemingly on the outer last year and getting on, Pears could be a ready made replacement for a young demon team in the next few years.
15. Kangaroos – Scott Selwood (Mid/HBF)
The Kangaroos appear to be very interested in the latest from the production line that is the Selwood family. He is a hard nut who apparently likes to run through people but has good skills, will more than likely go inside the top 25 so the Kangas will need to take him here if they want him

16.Port Adelaide – Dave Gourdis (CHF/FF)
Port are in need of a replacement for the aging Tredrea as their key forward stocks are rather thin. ****shell impressed early last year but didn't go on after getting injured, Westhoff is a good player, but is a little thin and defenders will start to work him out more and Damon White is pretty much useless and was on the trading block at the end of the year. Gourdis could be that genuine CHF that they need leading to the ball that they miss from Tredrea.

17.Geelong – Jack Grimes (Mid/HFF)
Grimes is a bit like Joel Selwood in that he has a great footy brain and great leadership skills. This will appeal to the cats especially after their great pickup of Selwood last year. Grimes has reasonably good skills, but not to the affect of Selwood, however they won't say no to Grimes who can also play down forward and kick some goals.
oh ok.....

slinac, I'm just telling it how it is. If the Kangaroos are interested in him they'll go for him there.

72 – KANGAROOS – CLAYTON COLLARD
Fremantle, Small forward/midfielder, December 4 1988, 182cm, 90kg
It is understood the Kangaroos are very keen on securing the services of Collard. They have sounded him out in the lead up to the draft and it would not surprise if they took him with their final selection. Essendon has also shown interest in Collard and Fremantle could also redraft him again, although that appears to be more likely as a rookie. Don't discount Jarrod Silvester, Tom Rockliff, Brodie Moles or Charlie McAdam as possible late picks for the Kangaroos either at No.62 or No.72.
Bio: Speedy, skilful forward/midfielder who represented WA in the 2005 NAB AFL Championships and was an AIS-AFL Academy graduate. Collard played just one AFL match with Fremantle in his only season at the club in 2007.
Well It looks like Collard will end up at the Kangaroos I hope not I would love him at the Cats

Yeah you have a valid point. It is just a shame to see a kid with so much potential not get given a chance to achieve sporting excellence.

They have to earn it in the head as well as potential. Nut jobs aren;t allowed on the streets these days so players with issues aren't going to get a big go.

Thomas Rockliff

holy heck Slinac, you must really know your footy. i haven't heard anyone mention his name in any of the phantom drafts, and he was easily the best player i've seen play (live). for those that don't know, he's a medium size forward who attracts a lot of the ball. the idiot kicked about 1 goal 6 behinds when i saw him, but the way he kept leading to the ball was almost Brad Johnson-like. i read somewhere that he kicked 8 goals in a semi-final for Murray Bushrangers, so i'm pretty sure he's the real deal. and you have to admit he's got a great name for a footballer. he could prove to be a great bargain with a speculative pick.

He got that off Matt Burgan's phantom draft I'm pretty sure.
