Has previously hinted he would like to return to play footy in WA and many seem to believe that will be next season. There's no doubt that if WC want him they'll throw him a very healthy contract (better than Geelong can offer) as there's enough room in the salary cap, but I'm not sure I can say the same for Freo (IMO Joel would be a much better fit for them).

Can't say I want WC to recruit him, but I'm thinking a mid 1st rounder + early 2nd rounder/2 late first rounders would be a minimum price set by Geelong.

What is his trade worth from the 2 WA clubs?

The thing is i think Joel is underated, but you can bet your life Geelong rate him up there with bartel and ablett!

He will cost alot, but apparently kerr wants to leave, a straight swap might seem the go.

IMHO Corey would be a great inclusion to the midfield, it seems very fragile at the moment and the heat off kerr and priddis would be very valuable.

Freo cant give them anything there team is garbage, OH! wait a minute, they could give Geelong the no1 draft pick this year! But they can keep there spoon

IMO they may be interested in a package involving 1st round pick + Mitch Brown/S.Selwood/Spangher/Drum/Warnock - all have plenty of footy and potential to offer and would be safer options than a 2nd rd draft pick.

Yeah maybe one of those players if you include a first round DP but on there own Geelong wouldnt want any one/two players.

Depends if he requests a trade. Geelong will make an effort to keep him, but won't go out of their way, as Ablett Jnr, Bartel, Selwood, Hawkins and co. are much more valuable to the sides LT success and will be the players receiving the biggest pay rises.

Corey's 26 and it's possible he'll be a 2x AA, 2x player and 2x B&F at the end of the season. His value will be at it's peak, meaning he could get a nice big contract in his home state (much better than Geelong will be offering him), as well as very good compensation for Geelong.

reckon geelong would be interested in a few west coast players, rosa, s. selwood, Mckinley, spangher. but i don't think worsfold would trade any of them.
