Default Early Trade Talk - Buddy for Judd?

With rumors saying Judd might be heading back east next year, and Hawthorn having a young and talented forward line (and players in waiting), would you swap Judd for Franklin?

It's an interesting theory. Here's how it could happen.

Franklin, being the absolute tool that he is, is going to ask the Hawks for a HUGE amount at the end of the year when his contract is up. Possibly boardering on a million. Hawthorn are not fools, they will tell him to get real, he won't get real, so a trade could be on the cards. Hawthorn don't mind because they still have Roughead, Boyle, Williams, Dowler, Thorp and Muston. In a direct swap, Hawthorn gets Judd and West Coast gets Buddy.

Course it's all utterly ridiculous and I don't believe anything of what I just said, except for the bit about Franklin being a tool and asking for squillions. Hawthorn will just make him take something more reasonable, and that will be that. But just imagine......

Franklin isn't a stupid man, he won't do that.

Not too sure on that. From all reports he is VERY stupid, and full of himself. He just sacked his manager for a new expensive one 2 weeks ago.

I'm with BackFlank, even from his younger days, all reports were that he loved himself a little bit too much, think they called it FIGJAM syndrome.

Hence why his nickname is Buddy (i.e. Buddy Love from the Nutty Professor movies).

Apparently the only thing stopping Buddy from going #1 that year was himself from all reports. Everyone is knocking Richmond for taking Tambling over Buddy in the press yet they fail to acknowledge that Hawthorn went for Roughead over Buddy as well.

Yeah. In the psyche tests Franklin was off the scale for ego-centrism. Like they actually didn't have a score for him because it was ridiculously high. Knowing this I am more patient with Tambling!

His nickname is Buddy cause that was his Dad's nickname and it just stuck with Lance as well I think you'll find.

Over this weekend Franklin has doubled in value ... Judd on the other hand has not got full value out his injured body.
