Default James Frawley Prime Target

Read an "interesting" article from Jake Niall In the Age and thought it was worth a few comments.

Richmond a good fit for Frawley | theage.com.au

Quote:
The odds of Frawley leaving is a question that the Tigers, Hawks and various other clubs will ponder in the coming weeks, bearing in mind that, as the Buddy, Brendon Goddard and Tippett coups suggested, teams do not wait until July before chasing an out-of-contract gun - the groundwork must be laid in April and May, at the latest.
Interesting .... Would that be illegal by AFL rules to approach a player that is still contracted?

Personally, hope James stays. But fully understand and respect his decision to take a "wait and see policy".

Yes, nephew. I had a good chat with "Spud" a few months ago - top bloke really nice to talk too. In my heart I think "Chipa" will stay a Demon.

There was talk of him coming to St.Kilda in last years trade period but I don't know if an actual deal was put forth to him. Still he has very strong St.Kilda ties and we need a backman. He'll only need to wait 2-3 years before the Saints are playing finals again IMO. Might even be quicker given the rise of Port Adelaide make it seem like finals isn't really far away for some Vic teams.

I see Roosy is starting to put the pressure on him to make his decision.

When he wasn't coaching he was adamant that he wouldn't play a player that kept putting off their commitment, time will tell.

Go where the money is son, that would be my advise!!!!!!!!!!!!
