This year they are flying thick & fast ... the "noise" levels are a media feeding frenzy. The "seagulls" are poised to pick every morsel the clubs or player managers want to leak.

I love the way St.Kilda goes about it. We're not really extravagant with our selections come draft/trade news, but we select players to fill specific positions, no matter how "popular" they might be. Zac Dawson is a prime example. He was borderline on Hawthorn's list a few years ago and now he's turned into a very solid backman.
EDIT - I hope Ablett goes. I guess we'll find out in the coming days, but the Gold Coast's offer is an estimated 1.9 million a season. Yes, 1.9 MILLION.
