After a four month rest it is time for the Dragons to return to the field of play. Coach Chris Ticehurst has entered into his 3rd year at the Dragon's castle and seeks to improve on the 2007 Season where the Dragons just missed the Major Finals and then falling down as they tried to reach their second Minor Grand Final in a row.
Coach's Comments: Last year I thought the second half of the year was well done. We had all the thriller games and we were pushing teams hard. One good stat we have is that we did beat the 2007 Premiers and the 2006 Premiers in the Super Coach League so it shows when we have the boots on, we can well very well. Our first year was about learning the game. Second year was learning to select the right 22 starting players and this year is about learning how to draft the right back up players and using the trading system better. There will be some returning players such as Pavlich and Black for example and we will be testing out some new blood as well.
