Not a bad team PAFC, do you think Tredrea will have a good season this year ?? From all reports he has had a really good preseason, but I've heard that saying about a thousand times, I'm not sure whether to believe it or not...

Tredrea is the fittest he has been and has showed solid pre season form including an 82 in his last pre season game. Will probably play close to goal and should kick a decent ammount of goals this year. He's a must get in my opinion.

I can't find a place for Scott Selwood in the WC starting XXII - even though he has been v. impressive in the P/S - will be b/w McNamara, Masten, Ebert and Selwood for the last midfield spot (McNamara should get it IMO).

I think there's better than Schammer - I'd look at Gibbs for a bit more or Houli and Armitage for less. From Freo, I rate Peake higher.

- Don't like any of Mattner, Hurn or Nicoski ATM (don't think Mattner's a DTer - not bad for SC, Hurn looks like he'll still play mostly as a BP/HBF - so I'm expecting ~60-65 average, Nicoski looked very out of form during P/S - will take a while to get settled, I think) - some other names around the same price range, I'd think of are Barlow and Ellis. From WC, J.Graham is better option than Hurn and Nico ATM (plays a bit like McPhee).
- Guerra (if you want the safe option - Mundy's got more potential)
- McLean (never been much of a fan of Goodes in DT - more suited to SC, I'd use the wait and see with Judd - more suited to SC too, Black's safe but doesn't offer much in comparison to others at his price, no idea what to expect from Murphy)
- Hampson (only because he's cheaper - Berger will perform better)
- Bradshaw (just ahead of Hawkins - think they'll score pretty similar)
- Pav (GUN - most consistent out of the 3 and has the best fitness record)
- Bird (Ebert's an outside chance to play R1, while Bird is close to certainty)

Overall nice squad Rav I came in well under cap on my first draft to. Bold is what I would choose as for the Big 3 forwards can't really go wrong with any selection. Brown has the most potential, Pav the safest option.

too many middle-tier players, not enough big guns (big mistake of mine last year)

i don't like (Newman + Mundy + John**** + Symes + Mattner)
why not choose 2 of those guys + C.Cornes + P.Burgoyne + min wager ??

If I can just make one comment, it would be to get rid of Goodes. It's a common misconception. Don't get me wrong, he's an excellent player, but not an excellent dream teamer. He's the kind of player who gets 22 amazing touches as best on ground, but will only get you 70 odd points. You're better off getting someone like Andrew Carazzo, who regularly gets 30-40 touches, they're just all very ineffective, or out on the full.

I see where you're coming from but Goodes has been getting some good scores this pre season. However, i'm still tossing up his position and may go for Marc Murphy instead.

From previous experience Goodes has had runs of bad forms in the last few years where he doesn't score much and his price drops. If he gets on to a good run you'll get a chance to jump on board. I did that last season coming into the DT finals.
