I wouldnt have:
T.Simmonds
N.Lovett-Murray
R.Dyson (there are better options in his price range)
S.Dew (yet anyway)

You are hoping Essendon have a good year no doubt

Of course I hope we have a good year wouldn't be much of a supporter if I hoped otherwise prior to round 1.

I'm not really sold on Simmonds or Dew, but if you do decide to get either best to get them now before they rise in price.

Why not Lovett-Murray?

Who do you rate better than Dyson around 200K?

g bout downgrading Dal Santo to a rookie starting Tuck and getting McIntosh in the ruck, upgrading Brown to Gram down back and getting Hill as a rookie forward over Dew leaving me $44,500

Petterd + L-Murray is asking for trouble.
i can only see that wasting 2 future trades. why not go for big gun + cheapo?

the rest of the squad looks good.
Dyson might be the new Foley (fingers crossed!!)
Wood + Leuenberger is mighty strong reserves. are you sure you wanna spend that much?

i also would like to raise the question about paul medhurst? DonzFC has a point about LeCras. west coast have been training and looking closer at potentially pushing the likes of staker, armstrong and lecras through the midfield. i think lecras would be a better option here and i think is roughly 8k cheaper then medhurst.

Medhurst is my smokey to step up. He has been moved further up the ground and is getting midfield rotations through the pre-season averaging 73ppg. If this stays he should average 80 or so making him the perfect option to trade up to a Pav when a cow peaks.

The only problem about having a side full of cheapos is if 2 get injured or get dropped, you don't have much left to trade for.

Cheap midfielder is Bartram. He is melbournes No.1 tagger, and is bound to be a certain starter. Won't get massive points (expect 60-80), but certainly a great cashcow until he reaches top price by about rd 10-12
