I've got $70,100 left, but I am thinking that I should save that for the unknowns that always come up. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don't get Thornton, he's a middle of the road player.

but i don't like the selections of S.Thornton, K.Moore, Barlow, and Rusling.

Thorton's health problems will usually mean he won't play consistently enough.
