Tippaz is on a distinguished road
Default Tippaz RMT

i've got about 3 or 4 different versions at the moment.
this is the '13-man big gun' strategy, and currently my preffered side. i have skimped on reserves (dangerous tactics!) and have included a few min wagers in the starting lineup.

B - Cornes, Bowden, Shaw, Birchall, Symes, Lonergan, Pfeiffer, [Lower, Thompson]
C - Cross, Priddis, Goodes, Stevens, Houli, Coughlan, [Palmer, Bird]
R - Cox, Simmonds, [Hampson, Meesen]
F - Pavlich, B.Johnson, O'Keefe, Deledio, Fevola, Porplyzia, Rioli, [Morton, Gamble]

* i have also designed a '14-man big gun' strategy which would see me own Gilbee/Milburn/T.Cloke/N.Jones instead of C.Cornes/B.Johnson/Priddis/Lonergan giving me more eveness but less 100 pointgetters.
* and i have also got a few K.Cornes strategies up my sleeve 1.(K.Cornes + N.Jones vs Cross + Priddis) or 2.(K.Cornes + Vince + slightly better reserves vs Priddis + Fevola)

still a lot of work to do

Default me too

Tippaz, i am taking a very similiar strategy as yourself, plenty of big guns and value kids, limiting the need for to many upgrades, hopefully!

Interesting team, Tippaz. You've taken more risks than I thought you would. I'm not game enough to start 2 rookies - especially in the backs, but good luck to you.

How much cash do you have left?

Mids and rucks look v.good - similar structure/selections to mine.

Which Morton is that (Cale or Jarryd)?

nice team there tippaz...
but... birchall... im willing to take any bet he wont score more than 1800 this season... or in other words, i dont believe he can improve from last year...
i know a lot of people think he can, but from what ive seen and read, im not going to pick him this year...

and, another thing is, i find it really interesting that u dont have proud and bradshaw... surely at least 1 of them is better than lonergan...

houli > dyson now ?? hehe...
coz i really think the other way around, id rather have dyson in my team...
but since u barrack for bombers, i might give this another look...

btw, are we going to have a league for talkingfootball this year??

i'd prefer C.Cornes/B.Johnson/Priddis/Lonergan over Gilbee/Milburn/T.Cloke/N.Jones.

HOWEVER, the fact u are startin BOTH pfeiffer AND lonergan, i'd be more inclined to choose Gilbee/Milburn/T.Cloke/N.Jones.

i just think its too bif of a risk with pfeiffer and lonergan starting mate

made heaps of changes.
here is my newly thought out 14-man big gun strategy.

B - Bowden, Milburn, Shaw, Birchall, Gilbee, Symes, Pfeiffer [S.Thompson, Lower]
C - Cross, Priddis, Jones, Houli, Coughlan, Palmer [Bird, Geary]
R - Cox, Simmonds [Hampson, Meesen]
F - Pavlich, B.Johnson, O'Keefe, Deledio, Cloke, Porplyzia, Rioli [J.Morton, Gamble]
(no money leftover)

this means i'm starting 3 min wage players.
i'm also annoyed i can't get Proud or L'Berger on my bench. Travis Tuck would've been good.
i could downgrade Priddis to Goodes..... but how stupid would you be if swapped him out just before the rd1 lockout
