Default EAW 2008 dream team advice or suggestions

Hey everyone this is my dream team and i was just wondering about a few things, advice and comments would be good

Backs
Shaw
Birchall
Newman
Mundy
G.John
Symes
Mattner

Proud
Ofeiffer

Center
K.Cornes
Priddis
Salopek
Mclean
Stevens
Coughlan

Ebert
Palmer

Rucks
McIntosh
Simmonds

Leuenberger
Meeson

Forwards
Pavlich
Deledio
Hall
Reid
Porplyzia
Treadrea
Hawkins

Tippett
Rioli

I only have about $21,000 remaining

Also with the trades do u think i should stick with McLean and Priddis or go with someone who has been more consistent in the past. Birchall and Newman are also doubts i have

Finally Tomma Hawkins has played a few good games in the past and is cheap but do u think i should put him on my bench or even trade him

thnx

I would like to see Coughlan get a few games under his belt before picking him.

Possible alternative slightly cheaper is Houli and possibly try to uprade into Chad Cornes in your backline.

hmmm yer thts another thought i had about Coughlan

Do you think it is worth putting Houli in my team at the moment?
And also do u think Mclean will have a good consistent year? looking at last season he had many ups and downs, i myself am a demons fan but i have lost a bit of faith in him.

I think the 4 players you queried about are fine their all good consistent performers. Trouble I see with your squad is you only have 3 guys likely to rip the comp apart in Pavlich, K.Cornes and Shaw. I'd reccommend getting either C.Cornes or Bowden down back and Cox in the ruck.

Re Houli surely is one of the most touted "cash cows" pre-season 2008. Just think he is a good low-risk choice.

Re Brock breaks my heart to say ... sadly he not a 22 game player. I'm preferring to look elsewhere early in the season. However, will definitely have him on my watch list if he starts getting consistent matches under his belt or we get a heavy wet-spell.

my concerns are exactly the same is ali g.

backline is full of average players. maybe put proud, hansen, pfeiffer in ur starting 22 with another as a backup player. that would mean downgrading a mattner, mundy, symes and thus being able to pick up cornes or bowden.

id prefer nathan jones over brock mclean.

also, ur taking a risk with reid and tredrea in the forward line. not too keen on either

that could be a possibility
what are your thoughts on Birchall? should he stay in or should i down grade him and lets say Symes so i can put cornes and proud into the back line
