Default Defenders

Which out of the following defenders (priced between 200-300k) would you guys stick to based on current form and future potential?

Osborne (Hawks)
Thornton (Blues)
Dodd (Freo)
Carroll (Mel)

IMO Dodd might be the most consistent out of them, not sure why though...is he playing like a defensive-mid role (McLeod)?

not sure how Osborne has done so well in two games what is he doing to get 100+ scores. I like the fact that he is a hawk cos i think Hawks look ready to tear competition apart (except Cats) can he sustain 70-80+ ppg?

Thornton...seems to be loose man in defence and rakes up Marks/kicks...can he sustain 70-80+ ppg aswell?

Carroll - bit hesitant on picking any Melbourne players but could very well be the J.Bowden for struggling dees?!

Who would you choose...why?

i havent seen enough of thornton to offer my opinion there.

i wouldnt touch carroll

osborne is looking the goods but when the likes of crawford and lewis etc. comes back he is going to get less game time through the middle.

dodd. i dont know, hes a docker so who knows? haha

trust me. you don't want any of em'. (waste of future trade)

i rate Brett Jones as a better option than Dodd.
but you should really be targeting a big gun like S.Fisher or Milburn.
otherwise, just take another min wager (eg. Pfeiffer)
