Default What do you think?

I don't want to make any trades at this point but I'm worried about my backline.

At the moment I've got H.Shaw, Cornes, Bowden as well as Symes and Mattner which I'm ok with for now.
Problem is after that I've got Proud, S.Thompson, Rance and S.Selwood.
This means 2 of these rookies will need to be in my starting 22.

Obviously the money I saved in this area allowed me to spend more on buying an extra gun so I'll be getting extra points somewhere else but I've already played one short in defense in both games and I'm worried this might continue throughout the season. This would probably cost me a minimum of 40 points everytime this happens which will quickly add up.

Up forward I've got S.Johnson who's started slowly. I've also got Rioli, Hill and Tippett.

Here's the choices...

S.Johnson -> Porplyzia
Selwood/Thompson/Rance -> Thornton.
$10k in the bank
Gives 2 possible keepers in Thornton and Porplyzia and $10k

S.Johnson -> Gamble
Proud/Selwood/Thompson/Rance -> Thornton/Gilbee
$155/63k in the bank for Proud $183/91k in the bank for others.
One cash cow (will need to be traded again after a while) and one keeper(possible) and cash in Gamble and Thornton or Gilbee and $63 to $183k

S.Johnson -> Stokes
Proud/Selwood/Thompson/Rance -> Thornton/Gilbee
$165/73k in the bank for Proud $193/100k in the bank for others.
One cash cow (will need to be traded again after a while) and one keeper(possible) and cash in Gamble and Thornton or Gilbee and $73 to $193k

No trades
S.Johnson and Proud/Selwood/Thompson/Rance and $20k

Johnson has started slowly. Was last season the best he will ever produce? Can he do it again this season or did he just have something to prove last season? I'm worried I'll trade him and then he'll go out and score 150 this week against the Dees but Geelong were all over Bombers last week and he only scored 70.

Having those 4 kids in the backline is making me VERY nervous!! What if all 4 of them miss out one week and I get an injury to another player back there? I could easily end up 3 players short in my 22!!!

Should I trade this week?

If so, which of the options above should I go for?

Cheers
