Default Ruckmen situation...what to do???

Currently I have what I think is probably one of the best two starting Ruckmen combination of Cox and Simmonds.

My problem is in the emergencies: T.West and Meesen.

Before the next lockout I am wondering if I should get Kruezer (who will be playing 3rd match and increase in price next round) as perhaps a more reliable emergency if one of Cox/Simmonds is injured/suspended?

What would you do:

A) Do nothing and save the trade for upgrading other positions.

B) Trade T.West for Kruezer {Ottens will take back his spot soon. Also West has already marginally increased in price ~$20k}

C) Trade Meesen for Kruezer {Meesen done nothing thus far, P.Johnson has broken hand but Jamar took Johnson's position in rd 5}

I would sit on it, basically your rucks are set for the year barring injury so I wouldn't be to concerned about your bench or making many dollars here.

yeah good point!

If one of my ruckmen gets injured then I will sideways trade him for somebody (depending on length of injury).

Pretty safe with Cox and Simmo

as a Cox/Simmonds/Hampson/Meesen owner myself, i can understand where you're coming from.

i've been pondering the Meesen -> Kreuzer move too, but here's my reasoning against it.....
- everyone owns Cox/Simmonds
- everyone owns Kreuzer + West/Meesen
- if 1 of Cox/Simmonds were to miss, everyone would want to play Kreuzer
- however, you may only name 3 emergencies
- the smartest thing to do (usually) is to have 1 back, 1 mid, 1 forward
- therefore, no one really covers the rucks (secret alliance for elite DTers), so they'll just end up with 0 anyway
- as long as Cox/Simmonds are named in their lineups you'll have nothing to worry about

why trade when do don't HAVE to ???
