Coaches Comment
Great start to the year by our boys. We feel we have been under estimated with Brades, Tippaz, Shrek etc getting the attention but this could be the year that PAFC finally does something.
Bock and Adcock were the two best selections. Both should be able to keep the scores consistent with Bock now the only competent Adelaide forward. Still have the reliable players in Black, K.Cornes, Pav but also have a bit of youth that is capable of scoring big with Murphy, Rischitelli and Salopek.
Fev is a bit of a worry at this stage but not every team will triple team him like Geelong did and he should get more opportunities.

Hopefully we can keep our number 1 ranking with the pre season coming to a close. It won't be easy with Shrek, Brades and Tippaz behind but we are confident that the top spot should be ours for at least one more week.

IN:A.Walker(Carlton)
OUT:G.Johncock(Crows)
Johncock is out for 6 and I think he would have struggled this week anyway against a superior Ebert. A.Walker is scoring huge atm for Carlton so hopefully he can keep this up and bring some stability to my backline. I'm hoping he can become a reliable 80 scorer every week.

Coaches Comment
The fixtures this week absoloutley *****ed us. Brisbane played Sydney and having alot of Lions hurt us even though we had some of their higher scorers. Adelaide vs. Port also wasn't a good game for us as K.Cornes was given a tagging role. However, some solid scores across the board kept us in top spot - just. Miller was good in a thrashing for Melbourne. He seems to be the only tall that can provide a target at the moment so hopefully he can keep the scoring high. If only to prove Brades wrong.

This week we face the Brisbane Dragons. I'll have a further look at their team to see if I need to trade Raines but we expect an easy win this week. It would be a disaster if we lost after such a succesful pre season. I'm expecting big games from Brown, Pavlich, Black and Fev. Captaincy will probably stay with Kane

Well our pre season meant jack. Dissapointing to lose such a close game when Fev only needed a half decent game to get us over the line.

No changes this week. I expect big games from Fev, Adcock, Newman and Walker

Coaches Comment
Much better performance this week. Got over 1900 with key players not firing. K.Cornes had a great week as captain and Newman had a great game, proving that getting him wasn't a mistake. Good to see both Selwood and Rodan score massive points in my reserves. Rodan will come in this week to replace the injured Salopek
