I've got these 2 aswell but i reckon i will hang onto both of them as they are both proven consistent players so i reckon just wait it out! I think that it is not wise to get rid of your big guns unless they are injured.

Can't trade either unless they hit the LTI. Once you sign a big gun he's yours for the year take the good with the bad. I have to wait it out with Bowden as well so you ain't alone!

I 100% agree think its madness to burn a trade on either of these players after 2 rounds and no injuries.

i would do the trade. could get pav back in a few weeks when he starts improving and have an extra gun in your forward line. if u intend on getting johnson get him now, his price will go up next week and it'll make it harder to get him. pav's price will drop so will be easier to get back

G'Day Stoney,
I wouldn't trade Pavlich or O'Keefe out. When you select a quality guy like those two to your initial squad you do so expecting them to perform at a high level (for example 110 per game)......but of course that doesn't mean they'll get 110 every week. They'll have some weeks well over that and others well under. For example.... 90+80+70+150+160 = 550 and so does 140+130+80+40+160 If Pavlich or O'Keefe had started 140,130 no way you'd consider trading them. Sometimes the lower weeks come early but that doesn't mean that your initial assessment of expecting an 110 average was incorrect. If you trade them out and they immediately post a couple of 140 point games then you will not be happy because your initial assessment of their quality was correct but you didn't see it through. Of course if the mediocre scores continue then there will come a point when trading them becomes a consideration but I don't think 2 weeks is enough to decide on that. |
