Default Fantasy Football Good Tips 2008

Scott Pendlebury !!

okay. so he finishes the year on 1365pts @ average 80.29

after famously scoring just 3pts in r17, i'm predicting this will lead to a severe underpricing for next because it took a massive chunk out of his pts average.
i noticed him spending more time in the midfield after the midseason break, which brought about more points. rds12-16 he was averaging close to 90pts per game, and i think this will be a true reflexion of his scoring output next season.
this kid is capable of tucking away 2000pts, and he'll only be priced around the 295k mark (some 100k cheaper than Judd).

you heard it here first

Judd will be dirt cheap at the start of next season (if the prices stay the same - I think they do?)...he's under 300K ATM and will probably stay there (or maybe drop some more). If you reckon a lot of people have him this year wait till next year!

Next years price is based on average score, not price at the end of the year. Therefore need players who have had years not as good as they usually would.

Barry Hall, Judd and Goodes all worth a go next year along with pendlebury.

It doesn't matter if he's **** or if his disposal is ****, he scores well almost every week so he's a good pickup.

Ah yes, that has to be the case. Cheers for clearing that up. So in that case, McLean, Simmonds, Kennelly, Griffen, Nicoski, Butler and maybe Tredrea (if he can get a good pre-season under his belt) will be hot property next season.

that's correct EagleRock.

i had him scoring 90pts each week from rds12-16, and he wasn't really that good.
but he certainly knows how to collect dreamteam points.

Peter Burgoyne in the showdown best ever example. Quite possibly the worst footballing performance i have seen in many years but got high DT numbers.
