Default Dreamteams Price Change Formulas

Can anyone remember the formulas used to calculate the price changes we had worked out last year? If you could work out average scores needed to maintain price it would make picking a team much easier.

I think it was...

(average for last 3 games) - (Price/magic number)

The magic number is the price per point scored.
I can't remember what the magic number was last year but I think it was around 3160(?) so a player with an average of 100 would be $316,000.
It was higher at the start of the season (around 4200?) to calculate the starting prices and then changed to the lower number once the season started.
I think SC is starting with a magic number of around 5100 this year.

eg. Price = $316,000, last 3 games avge= 79
79 - (316000/3160)
=79 - 100
=-21
so the price would decrease by $21k

eg2. Price=$316000, last 3 games avge=108
108 - (316000/3160)
=108-100
=8
so the price would increase by $8k

So basically it's (avg last 3 games) - (avge for price) to calculate the change.

The higher the starting price the more likely their price will come down.

From memory DT and SC had varying magic numbers last year I think SC was up around 3700 but your formula looks spot on for DT!

i'm near certain SC's magic number was 3750 last year meaning Brown would still be losing around 50K value with a 150pt average on current price, so Tippaz was spot on with him being overvalued early! Judd would need a 150pt average to maintain his price!

Yeah, that's why I'm considering picking less guns in my initial team and a few more mid-range players who I'm hoping will increae their scores. Then I'lltrade the mid-range players who don't start well for guns that do well before their price increases and leave the other guns for later in the season when their price drops. Not sure if I'm going to do it though. It'll mean that I might end up with less guns later in the season (but maybe better guns?)
