Has been in solid form pre-season and looks rejuvenated playing up forward whilst still being classified as a back.
i saw L-Murray as a SuperCoach prospect only.
this new forwardline role has got me worried. if he ends becoming some sort of Corey Jones his numbers could suffer. i agree he's underpriced, but i don't think he's good enough to average 75-80ppg (waste of a future trade). last year i stuffed up by buying too many middle-tier players that required upgrade.

but, you never know. i would love see him play his old role off halfback.

Hey Tippaz, great work as usual mate.

Because i've been so busy with Uni, Work and Sport i haven't really had the chance to do as much research as i would've liked or read your thing yet. I've skimmed through it though and gone through the North bit and it looks excellent

Good luck for this year

True his stats may suffer forward, he did look good in the 2 NAB cup games I saw him play but just realised he only averaged 60 for the series with McPhee playing a quarter and Lloyd only 1 game out of the 3 he played. Will be hard to see him slotting back in down back with Dempsey and Nash there, also think Dyson will be rotated through backline alot.

Where does Welsh fit in now? I think he has to return to the back pocket with McPhee and Lovett-Murray forward. Could this bump his stats back up?

I don't really like the thought of McPhee forward - he is such a great ball-runner I see it as a waste - same with NLM. Welsh is a different prospect and I think has shown some versatility down forward where I have always considered him a back pocket player - first link-man from full back in a way. I would think Welsh forward and McPhee back - NLM who knows.

Good to see some serious competition for spots with the young blokes at the Bombers.

i have a feeling it will be defensive-half-forward for Andrew Welsh. (not a statistical threat)
