Exclamation Dreamteam Faulty Price Formula! Help!!!!!

Ok so i am freaking out right now, its trade time, and after plotting my formula's, something dreadfall has happened! the formula doesn't work!!!!!!

The Formula is Average - (Price / Magic Number) supercoach's magic number was 5152

Thus Brown Avg 87.67 - (723900 / 5152)

Jonothan Brown, in supercoach went down 78,000
. According to the formula, he should have dropped 52,000. Thats an extra 26,000!!!!!!!!!!

However, Gary Ablett Avg 116 - (470800 / 5152)
gives a gain of 24,000, while supercoach gave him a rise of 23,000, pretty close.

David rodan, went up 99,900 instead of 80,800
I'm thinking the formula is more complicated then we have previously thought, and probably has a compounding element to it and possibly a limit too.

Can ppl get their calulators out and try and figure this, cause it could be all important in planning future trades?!!!!!

I think they've added extra variables into the formula this year.
The figures I get don't seem to be consistent. Some are over and some are under.

*******s!

Someone on BigFooty has it but I cant find the Exact formula.. The magic number was like 3744 in a different formula than the above.

*Starts writing a song*
The Magic Number, Number, Number..
It can be what ever they want it to be.
Number. Number.
Find it out or be forever wrong.
Number. Number.

On bigfooty eh? find it already, sheesh!

ha ha, kinda frustrating, i wrote supercoach an email about it, they gave me the standard line about 3 week rolling averages, meh, they did apologise they couldn't give me more information tho.

I imagine if you sit and look at players with similar scoring and their changes in prices it'll be easier to figure out the formula....

annoying tho,

Seriously post again if you find the formula brades
