Default Footy Tipping Formats For 2009

Every year we normally run some sort of tipping competition on the site for our members.

However, in 2009 we are looking for some early feedback!

What type of footy tipping format would you like to see? Please bare in mind with your suggestions ... the time it takes to collate and publish results.

In previous years we have had ... quite successfully may I add the following

1/ Bookie Buster - Tips are allocated via value related to bookmakers prices hence picking short priced winners is less of an advantage
2/ Last Man Standing - You only get 1 selection per week .. it must win to stay alive
3/ Point Accumulator - Pick 1 team a week add their winning margin and thats your score

Looking forward to your replies

So just the general footy tipping is off the cards? That last man standing one looks alright IMO.

Nothing is off the cards! Just seeking early suggestions & preferences.

However, we would like to seek a point of difference, so "general footy tipping" has its draw backs. Unless somebody can suggest a novel idea to hold interest late in the season when many have no practical chance of winning.

Yer that sounds like a good idea but could be a lot of mucking around checking which teams everybody has tipped throughout the season. But I like that one a lot.
