Michael Barlow Injury Updates
Fremantle star Michael Barlow is still an indefinite prospect in his return from a broken leg, with the club yet to decide when he'll play again.
Barlow suffered the horrific injury midway thorough last season after a stunning debut year. He hasn't rejoined full training and was still walking and jogging laps when the team resumed from their Christmas break today. Fremantle sports science manager Jason Webber said the club would not rush him back becasue they were concerned about breaking him down. Webber said the bone had healed strongly and his running ability remained strong but there was a risk of soft tissue injuries. "Mick's on track with his recovery from the fracture. He's on target to get back next season in a good manner," he said. "At this stage we're not putting a specific time frame on it... we're looking at managing how his leg progresses."
