Default Fevola to go to the Bulldogs

Brendan Fevola will go to the Western Bulldogs who will offer up pick 5 in a straight swap.

This will prove to be a great deal for both Carlton and the Western Bulldogs.

Carlton will get rid of their problem child and the bulldogs get the key forward that they have been missing since the departure of Simon Beasley - how many years ago?

Not only does this play well for Carlton on this trade - can you imagine what the Judd deal would look like with picks 1, 3 and 5 at Carlton.

I expect that this trade will be done to secure a second pick under 5, so that Carlton only has to offer up picks 3 and 5 for Judd and retain pick 1 for Kruezer.

Carlton get Kruezer and Judd at the cost of Fevola - good job blues if it comes off.

why would carlton want to get rid of Fev anyway? Im sure pick 3 and Josh Kennedy should be enough, obviously not adequate but better then him going to a real threat team like Pies or Hawks from WCE point of view.

With Judd sending them down Fev's throat the Blues could quite possibly make the finals next year.

They'd be stupid to get rid of Fev. Lance Whitnall on the other hand should be given the ***.

Why, because pick 3 and Josh Kennedy is not good enough to get this deal done.

There in lies Carlton problem ... Doggies not that stupid.

Far too much bad baggage for Dogs to handle.

Well, thats a good little idea. Doubt it will happen though. I still think they want Brendon. Who else can kick goals

They will want that Kreuuausasuasdghsaiuodgasu Ruckman (sorry can't spell his name), and to snare Judd as well would be so **** good.

If i was carlton or WBD, id do that.
Doggies would think themselves possibly premiership contenders, and if not, definately finals...but they need a tall forward to take pressure off Johnson...cos theyve got a pretty good midfield. And Carlton, who arent contenders for another 2 years at least, more likely three or four, then have the chance to groom another team like WCE have at the moment, with Cox, Judd Kerr and Cousins- Kreuzer= Cox, Judd=Judd (duh), Gibbs/Murphy=Cousins, Scotland/Stevens= Kerr.

WCE won a premiership without a big name key forward, with Hansen and Lynch playing as well as they could...but theyll never be super stars, so it shows that carlton dont need the big name forward to win a premiership.

I don't think Carlton can afford to lose Fevola. He is their main man up forward. If they get rid of Fevola and get Judd somehow, they will then need to shop around for a goalkicker, and there ain't to many proven goalkickers on other team's trade tables.
