Default Jordan McMahon 2007 AFL Trade Rumours

Jordan McMahon sounds like the bulldogs are shopping Jordan around.

Adelaide could be interested if thats so...they would be wanting a younger bunch of skilled small men, cos their list is getting very old these days.

The Tigers seem to have the front running here ... a little birdy told me this two weeks ago. But I hate spreading rumours.

The Tigers are prepared to part with a second-round pick for McMahon and reportedly offering him a three-year deal worth $1 million.

We don't need McMahon. It would be a classic Richmond blunder if we took him.

dont rate jordan mcmahn for richmond, why do we always go for these players

if he fails to deliver for the tigers next year, the recruiting team should all retire.

I think we may have given up too much for McMahon, BUT the boy's only 24 y.o and finds it 20 times a game. I don't think any backline can have too much pace. Yep.....the jury's out on this decision, however, when Leon Cameron came to Richmond he had been categorised as a washed up ball-carrier type, and yet Leon took us to a 2001 finals campaign. McMahon can play for the next half-dozen years. I'm just pleased Richmond have got involved yet again without losing any quality players.

McMahon picks Tigers over Port

Stephen Rielly | October 12, 2007

RICHMOND last night put Jordan McMahon into a yellow and black jumper, with the Western Bulldog defender choosing the Tigers over Port Adelaide for a three-year deal worth almost $1 million.
McMahon, 24, informed the Tigers of his decision in the early evening after earlier visiting Port in his home state.
His decision will give the Dogs Richmond's priority pick, selection 18, which means that the Tigers have only one selection,No. 2, inside the first 30. Pick 19 was exchanged with selection 30 to acquire Mitch Morton from West Coast.
The Tigers got McMahon but missed on Brisbane Lion Rhan Hooper, who agreed late yesterday to sign a new deal with the Lions.
Another massive recruiting blunder by Richmond
