Default Mitch Morton AFL Tigers Trade Rumours

West Coast and Richmond seem set to strike a deal over Mitch Morton, with the Eagles expected to receive a third-round pick for him, or a second round pick from the Tigers in exchange for West Coast’s third round selection.

Would this signal the Tigers intention with pick 2 in the draft?

West Coast may as well accept the dud offer, as Mitch Morton is out of contract, and Tigers hold first pick in the preseason draft.

but Trent Cotchin has already been earmarked as the no.2 pick to the Tigers.
i think Cale Morton will end up at West Coast with the no.3 pick.
(you wouldn't draft somebody to suit his brother, would you?)

According to most WC supporters he seems to have a case of FIGJAM, lacks work ethic, plus he apparently doesn't like the idea of having to be a fringe player hence wanting to get traded. Personally I'd be disappointed if WC let go of Mitch Morton as I believe if he manages to reach his full potential he could be in the ilk of someone like Steve Johnson or NG Brown.

If WC do trade him it will probably be with an exchange of 2nd round and maybe 3rd round picks, as well.

Mitch won't end up at Richmond. If anything he will go to hawthorn to play along side his younger brother, Jarryd and hopefully the hawks will pick up Cale as well.

If what most WC supporters are saying is true, then there's no way Mitch will want to go to to Hawthorn, as he'll start off as a fringe player...and if Cale slips to pick 12 Hawthorn will be laughing.

I heard Morton's father has been very hard to deal with and West Coast don't want to have anything to do with the family because of it

Most wc supporters don't know what they are talking about. You will find that his brother Jarryd is already at Hawthorn. His family are over here as well. WC hardly played Mitch this year because he was out injured and was out of form. So those wc supporters seem like know it alls. Don't believe them.

You hear these things but you would be wrong because he has been fine with Jarryd at Hawthorn.
