Port Adelaide's Adam Thomson could be on the market.

Little "birdy" told me this kid is another who is very, very keen to come home.

Wonder where he will end up in 2009?

umm, just letting you know that he is origonally a sturt player, he is allready home.

But he is looking for a new home, as well as Bently who has been linked to Melbourne.

The little birdy must not be a homeing pigion.

Yip my fault I was told he was thinking about leaving Port & Victoria was his preferred option .. I just assumed that was his home.

who is he?
and is he worth taking?

He is a in and under old school centerman who know how to find the ball at stoppages and can rest up foward and score. His down falls are he probably lacks a bit off raw pace but from what i have seen should make it at AFL level.

He is coming to Richmond!

It wouldn't surprise me if Port accept our 3rd round pick for him.

Richmond has plenty of pace in our midfield now with Delideo, Foley, White, Tambling etc..., so the addition of an in and under ball getter to replace Johnson would be beneficial to our structure. This is a deal that should get done before Friday.

In return Port have picked up the tigers third round pick 42 i think it is.

fair trade in my opinion

Thomson for 42 is massive steal by Richmond IMO. Pick 25-30 would've been fair value.

Think we are saving second pick for seaby possibly.

i think if that happens the tigers will need to get rid of someone for another pick
