Yeah, I'd give them Foley and Deledio to make him promise to stay away!

Realistically, Richmond would be interested in a trade for Ben Cousins, but it would depend on the Eagles motivation.

If the Eagles were motivated to move him on ala Akermanis/Brisbane then we would be able to get him for pick 17. If not then we would struggle to have the right offer for the Eagles as we will not trade picks 1 or 2.

The only other possibility would be a straight swap Joel Bowden for Ben Cousins.

Considering Ben has only say 3 years left this will be almost outside our window of opportunity for a premiership. On that basis, there would be other clubs that would perhaps have a better offer available than Richmond.

Thumbs up Bomber Ben

Many execs and coaches steered clear of saying they would go after Ben Cousins when he was in strife early in the year. Neale Danaher was one coach at that time that said he would trade for him. I reckon Essendon would give up a number 1 pick, as it won’t be a high pick in the draft to slot Bennie boy in their midfield, especially if Danaher gets the gig at Windy Hill.

Collingwood would also trade for him but the Wobblers would look the Eagles manager in face and offer something like a fifth round pick and a non-required player or who’ve hardly played a game - and do it with a straight face. Trading is always a risk: you get nothin’ for nothing’.

He’s simply so good I believe almost every team will inquire as to that the Eagles expect in a trade even though they say they wouldn’t.

Don't get sucked in about that media junk about role models.

I reckon West Coast has changed their mind and will definitely not be letting him go

Default cousins

You'd be crazy to trade anything more than a 2 round draft pick. Too much of a risk.

Now, lets talk about Judd......I would give my soul!
Told ya so! I even preempted Judd leaving. Obviuosly my soul was not good enough to get him to Bombers though!
