Default Trivia to pass time in the off season

Who were the two last players to leave their club but return to play in a premiership with their old club. ( note both players are from the same one club ) Correct person to ask the next question.

Croad would be the obvious ... Hawks - Freo - Hawks

Does Martin Pike count? ie Melbourne - Fitzroy - North - Brisbane ... hence thru the Fitzroy Brisbane merge

Its 2 players who left the same AFL club but later returned to both be premiership players at that club.

Its Tim Watson who nominated for the draft & was picked up by West Coast. He was then off Essendon's list He was drafted back to Essendon . John Barnes was swapped for Sean Denham & later drafted back to Essendon . Both were premiership players in their second stint at the club..

No idea. Guessing it'd be in the early 1900's.

Thought it was Bernie Jones who transferred from Hawthorn to Essendon but in 1978 Don Scott was injured so he transferred back as Bombers had Merrit & two Maddens for rucks. Was cleared at start of season.

Ah that rings a bell, but never would of guessed it in a million years!

When was the last time a team came from 8th to win the flag? (Or bottom of the finals ladder)
