Default Victorian State Record for the most flags in a row

Who holds this record? It was very recent. And I mean senior flag BTW.

(I know the answer - just want to see who else knows)

Do you mean successive flags by a Victorian club?

I'll take a punt and say 2007-2011. Geelong-Hawthorn-Geelong-Collingwood-Geelong.

STK cant be right as 1897 - 1944 would beat that. ( 1945 was Sth Melbourne now Sydney). Nth Shore won about 6 in a row in Geelong Football League.

Incorrect, Scumbagger. Six in a row is not the record. It's higher.

STK, it's by one club. You listed three clubs in your list.

Fair enough, got no idea then haha. Scumbagger I figured because he said it was recent I'd do with that, obviously was thinking this answer was in regards to the 'AFL' era otherwise you'd be right there's about 60 years of straight Vic flags

Since it cant be an AFL ,VFL or VFA that leaves scrub teams or the BIG "V" who won 10 consecutive flags against other state teams.

No they didn't. They played in a heap of grand finals but didn't win them all.

I just checked while typing this and they PLAYED in nine GF's in a row from 1993 to 2001. But they lost three of them - two to East Burwood and one to Donvale (WOO HOO - My boys and I was there at Ringwood as well). The most in a row they won was 4.

Keep trying - and it was more recent than that by the way. A clue; their last flag was in 2012, and they didn't make the grand final in 2013.

Yeah over due.

It was Horsham Demons in the Wimmera FL. Ten flags in a row from 2003 to 2012.
