Default Punters Betting Rally Behind Port

PUNTERS where rallying for outsider Port Adelaide to upset Geelong in the grand final.

TAB Sportsbet's Gary Davies said he was stunned by the groundswell of support for Port.

"It's caught us all by surprise," Davies said. "Port has been a big go and is into $2.80 with us.

"What's amazing is the fact we've taken twice as many individual bets on Port compared to the Cats."

As a result, TAB Sportsbet is offering the best odds in Australia of $1.40 for the Cats.

I smell a very, very big rat with the bookies just out to balance their bookies with this over empathise on this plunge.

Gary Davies, I smell a rat with your prices on an hourly basis. Your book is the most loaded and dreadful value for money in a soft and antiquated industry. Fortunately, I have Betfair to make sure I get the prices I need. If I had to rely upon the likes of you my rat would be a smelly decaying mass of rancid meat by now. Thanks for nothing you....er, RAT!
