What would it pay if you took the dogs over the cats?

Well i've had a look at the latest odds from TAB Sportsbet and Geelong is favourites at $1.52 and the Dogs are outsiders at $2.45.

I got knocked out in the first match so i'm going to try a follow up multi-bet on the remaining 6 games. Here is my bet;

Brisbane to win
Hawthorn to win
Carlton +10.5 Points Head Start
Port Adelaide to win
Fremantle to win

BET AMMOUNT: $30.00

I put all my bets over the internet. I'm with Global Sportsbet they usually have the best odds in Australia. Basically you just log on to the site and select which teams you think will win, and the odds are automatically multiplied, so the more games you have in the multi the bigger the odds, and you can leave out matches that you are unsure about, like i did with the Cats/Bulldogs this week. The good thing about multi-bets is you don't have to outlay as much and you still have a chance of a big return. I landed some huge Multi-bets earlier on in the Season. The bad thing about Multi-bets is if you get one game wrong it stuffs up the bet, i've had a heap of near-misses.
