Anyone attending? Mainly directed at you Brades.. i think one of the few from Adelaide here.

Should be a good year of racing, especially with the introduction of the VE.

Yeah I'm going to turn 9 like usual.

The VE may look different on the outside, but its essentially the same race car... thats what I have heard.

Missing thursday myself as its **** (Even though I have Thursday and Friday off) since there is no V8s on that day and its only practices and quali's... instead I'm watching live Ice Hockey.

I'm there Saturday and Sunday.. for the real racing. Haven't heard that much on the spec's of the VE Commodore either.. guess we'll find out on raceday.

Hit the roads tommorow.. can't wait for Saturday now that it's getting closer. Will be really interesting to see who puts in the times.

Yeah, Glad HRT made it onto the grid atleast. I'm getting there at 9:30 tomorrw (hopefully) so I'll see all V8's + alot more. Its gonna be a scorcher tomorrow, but the rest of the weekend is good.

Oh im jealous.. i have to settle for Saturday and Sunday.

I'm very annoyed at one thing though.. no top ten shootout!

I think we'll see complaints about.. well really hope. I honestly don't know why they've done it.. it's been kept kind of quiet aswell. I guess the drivers agreed with the terms, and if they didn't.. that's bulls**t by the V8's administration.

I think they didnt want to keep damaging the cars after they'd gone through a decent Quali.. cause thats what Skaife did one year remember? Then there was no warmup or something and his car lasted 2 laps cause they had no chance to test and see if it was ok.

Yeah i suppose, it makes sense. Also the fact that the guys in the Top 10 were kind of disadvantaged having to do an extra, all-efforted lap than the others.

Oh well.. it was mainly for the spectators experience anyway.
