Default Some more conceit

Keeping with tradition, I just wanted to say on behalf of myself and my ego how overjoyed I was to see the mighty Lions beat Collingwood. IMHO Collingwood deserved to win- the lions kicking for goal was questionable at times and the scoring shots they had should have been converted better than they were. All this aside though, Pies didn't win and Brisbane did. At the end of the day it really means jack all how much you win by, a win is a win.
I don't really think I would care if we were to lose every other game this year (excepting perhaps the PA game) because beating Collingwood (not matter how good or cr@p they are from year to year)
is always something worth celebrating.

That's just such a great way to look at it....Don't beat anyone except Collingwood. Now what if Collingwood finished higher on the ladder. Does that mean they were better at the game than the Lions?

I'd like the Lions to make up the numbers in the 8. So long as Freo doesn't make the 8, that's as far as I like it...hehehe

It would really help if you read what I wrote properly.

I said 'I don't really think I would care', not that I wouldn't care- which is quite different.
Come on now, you're not going to tell me that beating Collingwood isn't one of the more satisfying ways of getting points?

As far as the Pies being better than Brisbane at the end of the year, that remains to be seen. To use the old cliches "we'll take one game at a time" and "you're only as good as your last game." On that basis Collingwood were underachievers (surprise, surprise).
