Default Bomber's Rookies: Your thoughts?

Myer's has turned out to be somewhat of a surprise package for me. I figured that this was a draft full of potentially explosive mid's and we were sure to snare one so was somewhat let down when Myer's came out of the blue. However having seen him play in the 2 NAB cup games to date he is quite a pleasant surprise. He has a booming left foot and generally hit's targets, even if he never makes it into our midfield he has all the attributes of a class flanker and should have a great career.

I'm yet to see enough of Pears, Daniher and Hooker to make an assesment given they are KPP.

On the rookie list we have managed to snavel some outstanding prospects for the future. Rhys Magin is a tremendous talent and far more experienced than years would have you think and should be elevated next year with the departures of JJ and Pev. Atkinson looks like he is about to turn green and become the incredible hulk. Hopefully he's not a black John's clone. **** looks like your stock standard aboriginal player. He's not in Davey or Jetta's league but will end up finding a role in the side and will have flashes of brilliance.

Magin looks like an outstanding prospect, he's Dal Santo like the way he handles the footy...Every time he gets it, it seems he has more time than he has actually got and he uses the ball well...Atkinson has the body for an AFL player, but he did a few things wrong last night, but that's expected from a 2nd gamer...

i was pleasantly surprised with Myers too. he actually reminds me of Pendlebury. i was expecting some sort of Dustin Fletcher successor, but this kid has midfield potential. i think he'll play about 10 games.
i like the idea of having Atkinson on the rookie list too. they said he was 23yrs old (i think that's the maximum age for a rookie). he looks ready to play this year too.

Definitely. The most accurate comparison I heard of him last year was a "defensive version of Pendlebury".
