Default Tigers "Tanking" Time For AFL Investigation
Earlier this season

"FORMER St Kilda coach Grant Thomas believes Essendon "tanked" its season last year - and Richmond are going down the same path this year."

Think Grant made these comments around round 6 we are now into round 15 and I think I'm starting to agree with him.

Time for an AFL investigation!!!!

Carlton must have tanked it for three straight years now on that theory.

I dont think teams tank, players have too much pride for that ****. Plus it would be likely illegal, losing a game deliberately would defraud millions of dollars out of legitimate punters. People would face criminal charges if it were proven.

No, I don't buy it. There was no Priority pick for the Bombers. And they were not even the first to pick in the draft.

I think these teams just have been playing badly for many reasons, injuries, confidence, inexperience, ill discipline....the list goes on. But not tanking.

Plus, who wants to listen to a failed coach who could not get his premiership capable side over the line for so many years. Grant Thomas is a bitter old ***** who needs to be seen not heard.
