Since when has a journalist ever been right? I rest my case. Hawthorn were lucky to come away with a win with a meek, pathetic and lacklustre display. Sure they can play some good footy when they beat Essendon, Carlton etc but when they come up against decent teams Clarkson reverts to his "**** we are going to get pummeled" tactic which is flood 4 guys infront of their key forward.

I'm not saying that we'll win the flag, but our style is not too dissimilar to Port when they won the flag in 04.
And we also played some good footy when we beat decent sides Geelong, WCE and Port at AAMI, all without flooding, but with hard running and good skills.

I never said that they were. Geelong - I watched that match and it was a flood athon. WCE I didn't because I was out and the Port match was another floodathon. Its also no coincidence that Hawthorn are the common denominator in the worst 3 games of the season.

You may rest your case now but it's far from being won you beat Geelong BEFOREthey were playing as well as they are now by flooding. Although flooding cannot be complained about Geelong are a much more in form side and it'll take injuries to stop us now.
