Default Joel Bowden to be Traded?

Further to my article "Richmond and Kevin Sheedy" where I put up the posssibility of Joel Bowden being traded, I am interested to gain some general opinion as to the current value placed upon Joel Bowden.

Firstly, do you feel that your club would be interested in a trade for Joel Bowden?

Secondly, what round draft pick do you feel would be a fair and equitable trade? 1st Round? 2nd Round? etc...

I think your being a bit harsh, JB has never and will never be a great blanketing backman but he has been forced into the role due to the lack of good tall defenders at Punt Rd. With two or three key backman; JB potentially could be the best half back - quaterback role going around. Reads the play beautifully, great skills with hand and foot, with this years draft he would def be worth a 1st rd pick the only thing against him is his age.

If we trade Joel Bowden.... I cannot even muster the courage to finish that sentance. Anyone can watch him and see that he is the boss of the team. We need a boss, a cool head, someone to tell the players to slow down and change the play. The thing is, it's all well and good to play youth, but I'm of the opinion that they need someone to learn off. And Joel Bowden is the perfect role model. Shame about his little brother.

A fish goes dead at the head. Richmond is dieing, you said it yourself, Bowden is the head. Time to cut it off before the whole fish dies.

The Tiges would be crazy to trade Bowden. I know he gets a lot of easy kicks across half back, but that's part of his role, to provide an option and get the ball moving forward.
There's no way you'd be getting a first round pick for a 29 year old though.

Your joking arn't you - over rated midfielder who doesn't have the best disposal... who would you take out of the eagles midfield for him? - Kerr, Judd, Cousins, Braun, Stenglein or Priddis? - Then you have Fletcher trying to claw his way back into the team

Yea I was about to quote the same thing.
They have the best midfield in the comp, why downgrade it with the presence of Tuck.

Tuck isn't overrated.. he's rated just fine. Not the cleanest user of the ball but his work rate is very good. He's better than Chad Fletcher though and Sam Mitchell.
