Default Season 2007 Reminds me of Season 1997

10 years ago. Like in round 22 we had numerous clubs vying for a finals birth. In 97, Carlton, Freo, Brisbane and Port all had a chance to reach the last 8, Brisbane hung on to 8th place because the other 3 I listed lost like Brizzy did.

Not many people gave the Crows a chance who finished 4th, like not many give the Kanga's a chance who finished 4th. Personally I dont think the Kangas can do it, but there are a lot of simularaties.

Geelong also had a great home and away season but bowed out very early, incidently losing in week 1 of the finals to the Kangas.

West Coast also went away in the first week to Adelaide, and lost.

Port or Kangas anyone???

WC were nowhere near what they are now.
Geelong may have had a decent win/loss but you look at their percentage this year. They are crushing sides.

I agree Kangas can't do it. Port should be 2nd favourites after Geelong.
