Default Failing Clubs

What makes the clubs down the bottom end of the ladder, so much worse than the top end. For example...
Carlton compared to Geelong

Geelong V Carlton

Ability in there youth.
Expirience in there youth.
STRONGER side.
And not a ****** as a coach.

Simple one club goes out to win games the other goes out to win draft picks by losing games.

Massive culture difference!

The players.

Simply...the players. The Coach and how they work as a team.

Carlton where held back by being kept out of the draft, they had to look at a long term re-build! The massive culture difference i would say is the other way around, how many premierships has geelong won in the last 30 years compared to Carlton?

Also after watching Geelong supports clap their side off the ground after giving away a 10 goal lead last year at home shows me theirs a serious culture problem, you would have never seen Carlton supporters and members except that!

I went to a dinner one night with Kevin Sheedy in 2000 and a person i was with asked him how he kept that side under the salary cap? his reply was "what salary cap" sides have been finding ways around it for years and should have been caught not just Carlton.
