West Coast (if Judd stays fit)
Dogs (Maybe a bit high)
Fremantle
Sydney (injuries could see them finish lower)
Saints (also a chance they could fall apart & miss the 8)
Geelong
Adelaide (could drop outside 8?)
Essendon (sorry Dees who could actually be top 4)
4. Wooden Spoon: Carlton Blues to continue
5. Brownlow Medallist: Cameron Bruce
6. AFLPA Most Valuable Player (The player's player not the umps): N. Brown (Tigers)
7. Coleman Medallist: Lloyd
8. Rising Star: Armitage (Saints)
9. First Coach Sacked: Malthouse

Good stuff Fitz. Go Cats i say!
I nearly put Bruce for the brownlow as well. Not sure why I didn't come to think of it...

Cats should go alright this year. I think they'll play much better than last year.

Bruce has been very good for a couple of years and I think he'll be even better this year.
I forgot about Melbourne when I picked my top 8. I wasn't sure who to take out to fit them in. Maybe Adelaide? Definitely not taking Bombers out of my 8! I think the Dees are a good chance of making the top 4 but they've been a yo-yo team for ages now and if they're true to history finish in the bottom half of the ladder.

I'm going to throw it down right now.
Geelong WON'T win the premiership.
They barely beat a very out of form Sydney team.

Going by your logic West Coast WON'T win the premiership because they lost to an injury ridden, out of form St Kilda (who are nowhere near the class of Sydney), Adelaide WON'T because they also lost to an out of form, injury ridden team in West Coast, Hawthorn WON'T because they lost to an out of form Sydney, so that rules out all our main contenders...

2 words.
No bench.
Ran out of legs in the last quarter mate.
Bartel, Rooke were gone before halftime.
Ling & Selwood copped heavy knocks and were on the bench for long periods.
Wocjinski, Harley and Mackie were cramping (apparently)...
You should give your guys soe credit, they were good in that last quarter...

I did say we'd win the GF on a few threads around here... Not that we've won anything yet...

At this very moment, Geelong are the best side in the competition. 8 consecutive wins over some good competition, outright top place on the ladder and a hugely superior percentage all indicate and confirm that. The number 2 side bet Geelong by 4 points in Round 4. I feel very confident that Geelong are playing much much better than that now. Its also fair that Hawthorn have lifted immensely too since then, so that would be a great game to see, shame we wont get to play them again until the finals.

Its been an awful long time in between drinks for Geelong. Let us enjoy this.

Mark these words, they will choke again.
They will get to the Finals and will choke.

Ae you gonna say why?
Or just try to look good by making bold statements without backing them up?
