Tippaz is on a distinguished road
Default the Judd deal

Carlton are in the drivers seat
Richmond could have a big say in this (see below)

well, if West Coast aren't prepared to accept a seemingly low of offer (let's say pick no.3 + Josh Kennedy)
Richmond and Carlton could get together and do a deal.
Carlton could give Richmond pick no.3 + pick no.20 for (let's say) Jay Schulz. (aimed to block the Judd trade)
Richmond secretly agrees to bypass Judd in the preseason draft.
Judd goes to Carlton with pick no.2 in the preseason draft.
West Coast get NOTHING.

my advice to the Eagles - don't get greedy!!!

Not being greedy, but he is worth more than pick 3 and Kennedy.
There should be no behind the door shady deals with Richmond

The concept has a few basic problems ...

1/ This idea is almost a "Veale deal" the big problem is the word "secretly" ... The AFL would not let this happen.
2/ Judd would effectively have to agree to scru the Eagles ... wont happen.
3/ Effectively you would force the Eagles to deal elsewhere and in negotiating terms Carlton and Tigers would be much safer dealing with the team that has what they want.
4/ Also deal like this would require trust on Blues part ... wont happen they wont trust the Tigers.

Sorry nice idea but I think it just wont happen. However, I dont mind if thats the path the Blues & Tigers take.

No, No you got it all wrong. Its got nothing to do with us "missing out".

I dont like the way the game is heading ... "Big Business" getting what big business wants ... when it wants it. Doing anything underhanded and unethical to benefit itself.

I want to see the Eagles get Picks 1 & 3 and more for Judd ... I think what the Carlton & Tigers are suggesting brings the game into disrepute. Its 100% under-handed and unfair. It rewards a team for finishing last.

This is 100% consistent with my views on "tanking or which some people refer to as managing a season" ...

This whole Judd process has highlighted to me

Carlton, Tigers & Judd are trying to scru the Eagles if they do what tippaz suggests.

WHY

$$$$$$$$$ MONEY

Very dangerous path, very self destructive path.

Now I dont mind because maybe some people might wake up to what they are up toooooo!

Ok i see your point sorry.
I was hoping the Dees would get him as you know and was disappointed they did not get him.$$$$$$$$ money talks.

It is a bit of a circus now and they should just get it over and done with.
The AFL should step in and say enough of the bullsh+t ,get it over with.

Honestly I don't know how Carlton would be able to afford to have Chris Judd on their books. I know that they have got Richard Pratt there as their president but sooner or later he is going to run out of money.

I reckon that hawthorn will get him.

True ,the Hawks said no thanks to Judd before he was picked up (WCE 01) so Judd will say no thanks to them,Besides what has Hawthorn got that the WCE will be interested in ???.

No to Bateman,Williams....etc.
