The Optimist is on a distinguished road
Default Ben Cousins West Coast Eagles

It is interesting to note that Ben Cousins from the West Coast Eagles has been suspended by the club indefinately.

It is also interesting to note that they also arranged to Drug Test Ben Cousins along with the AFL.

I wonder if these two issues are related?

I wonder if they new he would fail and they have been seen to take what looks like decisive action before the results are confirmed.

I also wonder if he has had 2 strikes against his name already and this will be the third and therefore a mandatory spell on the sidelines in any case?

Perhaps a good little conspiracy theory, perhaps not.

You wonder a lot of things "The Optimist"..
But, I think it's something deeper inside the Weagles camp.
Maybe a inside drug ring IDK.. And don't care.
All I know all this publicity is meaning no Weagles 07'...

All the bad publicity didn't mean "no weagles 05" or "no weagles 06"

Exactly, Cousins and Gardiner thing was last year. And I would not think that making the Grand Final in 05, even losing, = No Weagles.

I can't believe it's happening on the doorstep of the new season. TBH I was a bit gobbedsmacked when I heard the news.

I'm hoping that they'll (WC) dig deep and bond closer . The naysayers will be scruitinising every failure ready with the knives.....
