Default Poor old Magpies,

Every collingwood supporter i have spoken to in the last 6 months has said that they were 5 points beating the cats and winning the flag. truth is they didnt. bad luck. myself i hope the pies struggle this year and the mighty cats go on their winning ways and be the envy of every other team & supporter in the comp. back to back in 2008.

I have followed the Cats since 1951. I have seen them win the premiership and the wooden spoon. This team would rate as one of the evenist team across every line. They have depth as well. Look at some of the players that cannot get in the first 18. davenport, lonergan, prismall, just to name 3. Remember the Cats won the VFL flag as well.

Sure they can knock us up, we got past PA by sheer luck.

That said, it's gonna be one hell of a ride.

I don't care what you say, the Geelong Advertiser is a mighty fine publication for Geelong supporters and bandwagoners alike

The following are pure gold:
Zero Punctuation, Family Guy, Mighty Boosh, Black Books, RATM, QOTSA, Buckethead, Werder Bremen and the Cats

Default only 99 points

the game of the round would have been great if Essendon had have turned up. Still room for improvement, Tomerhawk needs more game time. Then there are a few to come back , Mackie, Rooke, and Ottens.

When Geelong play a TRUE top 4-5 side and run all over them ,thats when the Cats supporters can start thinking back to back GF.
People should stop thinking about the past and look to this year, each year is diff and Geelong have not played a true top 4-5 side yet.(BLOODY OBVIOUS)
Take Geelong out of the (AFL ladder )and at the moment the top four-five stand as this Hawks,Dogs,Saints,Sydney and Collingwood, when Geelong beat one of these teams by 6-7 goals+ then all Cats fans can get on their high horse about a GF winIN 08,MAYBE.

maybe a team like st kilda is they can stay fit could cause an upset in the finals, but as far as the minor premiership is concerned, i think its all over
If the cats make the GF - they will destroy again. it will be "Good Nite" by mid 2nd Qtr

How about giving credit to Geelong for accepting Essendon's appearance and then going about dismantling them one sinew at a time.

PS: TAB and Bookies have betting on margins of 40+. I recommend getting on this. Geelong win by an average of 75+ points at TS. Leave it alone against St Kilda though. St's play a stupid clog em up game - although from memory they also ot smacked by 40+ last year....

The only team at this stage that I can see challenging Geelong for the flag is Hawthorn, but because they are still developing and haven't quite hit their straps it will take more than an ounce of luck to do it

Those finals games are like that and that nite was made for a close game. but on average, Geelong would belt Collingwood 8-9 times out of 10, anyday, anytime anywhere.....shazam
