You never heard of Martin Leslie? I have. Des Headland was good... then he went off the boil.

I've heard his name but he was no BIG NAME player.

You heard it here first - Brendon Goddard will become a champion of the game in 2007. Deadset. Same with Cooney. Richard Lounder in 1987 played 4 games for the Tigers and then was delisted, the least of any No. 1 pick.

i'm surprised at the no. of midfielders over the last few years.

it's about time another big CHF (like Riewoldt) went no.1

Leslie played down back for the old BB's. Anthony Banik played 49 games for richmond when they almost folded. He succombed to Chronic fatigue, but it is also alledged that Richmond didn't allow him to pay his 50th because they would have had to pay his old club money...

I remember Hutton too, FF for the bear, ok player, not all that big. If he played for a better club where the ball reached the forward line he might have done better.
