Nah dont worry, they will be OK, maybe the spoon this year maybe Melbourne, but next year they will move up, and they will do OK.

Got to have bad times to really enjoy the good times when they come, at the moment just enjoy some of the champions of tomorrow as they develop.

Essendon has had a high degree of success with 16 flags, and not too many spoons, they will be competitive next year, and even better the year after.

Many other clubs stay around 6th to 14th for years on end, Essendon will come back and win more flags, while many others will not.

Keep the faith........

And the club will have enough in the near future to build a Spanish Galeon from scratch.
The Don's stretch target is to ensure there isn't enough timber to build a fleet in the future.
Have faith fellas. Every team goes through a bad patch (saints last longer than others).

i'm fairly positive about the years that lie ahead of us.

we've got some really good young players on our list, and Knights is going to add some more.
this list management will pay it dividends.
