He was seriously ridiculous. One of the best player performances i've seen for a long long time. Single handedly won the game for his side.

Borak, great to hear you being so objective and complimentary about an opposition team member. Do you think this next generation Ablett is destined for further greatness?

He has been sensational for the last 18 months. Anytime Geelong need a lift he is the man. Had that massive last quarter against Sydney and was the only Cat that threatened the Pies in the big upset. No wonder his Brownlow price has plummetted the only mid that could rival him is a full fit Judd and then he'd struggle without Cox.

Hard to say really, but i can't see why not.

Even when he was resting up forward Ablett looked dangerous. He is just always involved in the play and his second and third efforts are exceptional.

time will tell ...

I was reading what Brady Rawlings had to say about his performance, the runner apparently went out and told the players specifically not to tackle him. He had 3 players tackling at once and he still broke lose. Which of course meant he had open teamates to lay the ball off to.

He is quite an amazing player for someone his size

Come on, settle down nufan. we're talking about Marlin fishing here and you waltz in with your great carp (cotchin) catch.
It just aint in the same class.

Ablett is bigger star than buddy at the moment.

thats debatable its like comparing apples and oranges. if u had 18 of 1 player to make a team out of, who would u pick? i wouldn't pick ablett or buddy.
i'd take a hodge, c cornes or maybe richo

I reckon Ablett is a better player than Buddy, but you'd still have to take the big forward every time wouldn't ya?
